A Time to Chill

I love sweet tea. Born and raised in the South, I was taught to like tea at an early age and my long distance move has made me love it even more.

Here's my favorite recipe from Southern Living:

Yield
Makes 1 gallon

Ingredients
* 6 cups boiling water
* 4 family-size tea bags
* 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar

Preparation
Pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and steep 5 minutes. Stir in 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar. Pour into a 1-gallon pitcher, and add enough water to fill pitcher. Serve over ice in glasses. Add a lemon slice or mint sprig to each serving, if desired.

I green-ify my sweet tea by using organic and fair trade tea bags paired with organic sugar. You can get both at stores like Whole Foods.

Uh i am super jealous you have had the pumpkin ice cream! I have still had NO luck finding it here! There is a Ben and Jerry's in the Dallas area it is just 35 minutes away and I feel as if it might be a bit intense to drive all the way out there. Was it amazing though!?
